Avondale-Goodyear Transit Study

Avondale-Goodyear-Transit-Study

The Avondale-Goodyear Transit Study is evaluating the need for new and/or improved transit service in the cities of Avondale and Goodyear. In addition to traditional bus service (fixed route transit), the study will evaluate emerging alternatives such as microtransit, on-demand rideshare programs, subsidized ride hailing (such as taxis, Uber or Lyft), and other flexible transit services.

The study will include a review of existing conditions, a best practices report, a market analysis, route and service recommendations, and public and stakeholder outreach throughout the project.

Take our online survey to share your thoughts about the future of transit in Avondale and Goodyear, at https://www.research.net/r/AGTransitStudy. A printable version of the survey is available in the Materials tab.

The study kicked off in May of 2020 and is expected to conclude by April of 2021. For more information, see the project fact sheet in the Materials tab.
